HappyJoy Kids Park was born from a simple dream shared by two parents who wanted to create a safe, joyful space where children could explore, play, and grow. In 2015, Emma Richardson and James Patel opened the first HappyJoy location on the Sunshine Coast after noticing a gap in quality family entertainment options in their community.

What started as a modest indoor play centre has blossomed into one of Australia's most beloved children's entertainment destinations. Emma, a former primary school teacher, brought her understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities. James, with his background in facility management and safety compliance, ensured every element met the highest standards of security and cleanliness.
